Report on job safety at collapsed fair stage due
INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana regulators are set to release a report on their investigation into the Indiana State Fair stage collapse that killed seven people and injured 58 other people.
The Indiana Department of Labor scheduled a Wednesday news conference to announce the results of the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s investigation into the Aug. 13 disaster.
The Labor Department has said the briefing will include an outline of IOSHA’s findings and a briefing on any safety orders it might issue as a result of the probe.
Two out-of-state companies hired by the state are also reviewing the stage collapse and the state’s emergency response to the disaster.
