Des Plaines clerk, veteran’s group register voters

Des Plaines City Clerk Gloria Ludwig and veteran Mike Lake will be registering voters for upcoming elections from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 in the Living Room at the Heritage, 800 S. River Road. Registration is open to all eligible city residents. Individuals must present two forms of identification, indicating name and address. The Veterans of Foreign War Post 2992 will assist with registration. For more information, call the city clerk’s office at (847) 391-5311. Another voter registration session is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Oakton Community College’s Des Plaines’ campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
