Deficient plowing in Sun City Huntley
Why does the Huntley Public Works department plow snow near our two homes for the intersecting streets of Nealy and Wembley Drive in Sun City?
They plow these two streets, away from the curb/mailboxes about 15 to 20 inches and leave an “island” in the middle of the street. We, the homeowners, have to shovel our way out to the street and then clear the mailboxes for our mail to be delivered.
It’s been two years of telephone calls to get this situation settled and I even drew a map and stopped in one day, to no avail.
Help. Our tax dollars are not working.
