Elk Grove H.S. to host 'College Palooza' workshop March 17

The process of applying for college can seem daunting, yet research shows that those with degrees beyond high school make more money and have more opportunities for employment.

At Elk Grove High School, juniors and their parents are taught the ins and outs of applying for college and make the process easier.

On March 17, Elk Grove High School staff will implement “College Palooza,” the ultimate college planning workshop to help jump-start the application process.

This new program will be THE event for juniors and their parents to attend if they want to know about college.

The event is formatted so that parents and students can work together to find the “right fit” college, discuss options, and understand how the process works.
