Naperville native Brittain off ‘SNL’

Naperville native Paul Brittain has left the cast of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

Entertainment Weekly broke the story Tuesday, quoting a source that said Brittain and NBC parted “amicably.” NBC officials were not commenting Tuesday.

The comedian, a Naperville North alum, joined the show in September of 2010. Brittain was known for his impressions of Johnny Depp, James Franco and others.
