Spread the love at Barrington family fest

Looking for a fun family outing on a winter afternoon? Come to the third annual “Love Barrington” Family FunFest, sponsored by the Barrington Cultural Commission and the Village of Barrington.

The event is from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Langendorf Recreation Center, Barrington Room, 235 Lions Drive.

Beginning at 2 p.m. DeeDee Gallagher will get everybody’s blood pumping with dancing fun as she leads “Move to the Groove.”

At 2:30 p.m., Dennis DeBondt, magician and comedian, will entertain the crowd. He brings fun to new heights and brings loads of laughs for children of all ages.

The grand finale will be a performance by the Barrington Children’s Choir, followed by a short workshop for some of the older choristers. They will teach the children a special Valentine song, and then everyone will perform for the crowd.

There is no fee for Love Barrington, and everyone is invited.
