Thoughts for Wisconsin, Illinois on recall

Regarding the efforts in Wisconsin to recall Gov. Scott Walker, here’s something for the people in Wisconsin to consider.

Here in Illinois, our state is facing the same type of budget deficit that Wisconsin had when Walker took office. And how did the Illinois Democrat governor and Democrat-controlled legislature address the problem? By raising the Illinois State income tax 67 percent.

It’s the largest tax increase in the state’s history. Aren’t the Democrats supposed to be about standing up for the middle class? When the tax increase came up for vote, did any of the Democrats protest and leave the state to block the vote? Of course not. They all stayed to vote yes.

If the people of Wisconsin believe all the left-wing and union propaganda and put the Democrats back in control, get ready to reach into your wallets. And to the people in Illinois, maybe it’s time we start our own recall.
