The Suburbs This Weekend: Disney on Ice, "Grease" travel show and grand pianos

From Disney characters on ice to movie stars in grease; from traveling to Elgin to see and hear several hundred pianists, to traveling to Rosemont to discover other delightful sojourns possibilities, Sean Stangland and Richard Battin offer up their picks for weekend activities.

Sean suggests the Chicago Travel and Adventure show this weekend at Rosemont's Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, and a sing-a-long version of the 1978 film “Grease,” at the Tenessee Theatre in Waukegan.

Richard recommends the “Dare to Dream,” Disney-based ice show at the Allstate Arena and 400 pianists performing on 12 grand pianos at the “American Grands XVII” concert in Elgin. He has some concern about the logistics
