Stand up against Christian persecution

In all the countries they live, the Christians are the most law abiding citizens and most productive workers. In spite of this they are targeted for persecution. In our own country — America — Christians are harassed and denied their First Amendment rights by such groups as the American Civil Liberties Union and Freedom From Religion.

In other countries, especially in Asia, the Middle East and Africa, the Christians are persecuted. Their homes and churches are either severely damaged or destroyed; they are imprisoned, beaten, tortured and murdered.

They are persecuted mostly by radical Muslims, Hindus, atheists and communists. Some of these offending countries are Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kazakhstan. Uzbekistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Cuba, China, Laos, North Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia.

We must not let this happen without speaking out. Likewise our elected officials and other public figures need to protest this. They need to demand better treatment for all of their citizens, or if they refuse we need to cease giving them aid.

Also the mainstream media needs to publish more stories about the terrible treatment of Christians. Most of the time they remain silent about these occurrences. Remember, if good men do nothing, evil will triumph.
