Politics trumps compromise
It seems the art of compromise is becoming a lost art. Referring to the pipeline, some want to run through a route that if a pipeline break occurred (remember the Gulf), an aquifer breach could occcur that could endanger drinking water in seven states. The cry is jobs. Seems to me more jobs would be created on a longer “new” route. Couldn’t be “politics,” could it? Which is more important?
