Gingrich, Perry declare war on America

America became the most powerful and prosperous nation in the history of the world because of free market capitalism.

Our ancestors left oppressive nations in which “big brother” government controlled people’s futures to seek success. These incredibility brave people left their homes to come to America risking their lives, fortunes, and future. They were willing to invest their time, treasure, and hard work in the belief that in a free market, they could control their destiny and succeed.

In their attempt to win the Republican nomination, Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry have viciously attacked free market capitalism to smear Mitt Romney, the leader in that race. I suspect that Gingrich and Perry are not anti-capitalists. But they are so self absorbed that they are willing to give Obama and Democrats the ammo that they need to shoot down free market capitalism and turn America into an “entitlement nation” in which the government “redistributes the wealth” just as Obama clearly told us he wants to do on multiple occasions.

George Soros could not have put together a more damaging attack on capitalism than the slanderous video Gingrich’s supporters are using. Free-market capitalism does involve risk and occasional loss. But it has also created the most prosperous nation and the largest middle class in the history of our planet through competition and personal accountability.

The alternative of state-controlled communism has resulted in the starvation death of a hundred million people in China, Soviet Union, and other nations. State-controlled socialism is about to totally bankrupt Europe.

It is disgusting that Gingrich and Perry are willing to damage the engine of American prosperity for personal gain as it is under constant attack by Obama and Democrats. Randy Rossi
