Chicago Brew Bus
You drink, they drive on the Chicago Brew Bus brewery tour. Start at Goose Island Clybourn and hop on the bus. Visit Haymarket and Moonshine breweries before heading back to Goose Island. The trip includes 14 samples, transportation and a bit of Chicago's beer-related history. The brew bus runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays with a six-person minimum. Tickets for drinkers cost $54.95 or $25 for nondrinkers.

Beer summit
Join the meet-up group Beer Summit for a discussion about “Imperial” beer styles while sampling a few brews. Learn more about the two recognized Imperial beer styles: the Russian Imperial Stout and Imperial India pale ale, as well as those labeled “imperial” by brewers to indicate a stronger version of other beer styles. It costs $20 per person and includes four different beers and pizza.

To celebrate its one-year anniversary, Barrio Urban Taqueria's serving $1 house margaritas and $1 Tecate cans all day Tuesday, Jan. 24.
