Sentencing Friday in Milwaukee bridge death

MILWAUKEE — A man allegedly involved in throwing another man from a downtown Milwaukee bridge is set to be sentenced.

According to a criminal complaint, 45-year-old Timothy Carr and another man were accused of throwing 43-year-old Johnny Jordan off a downtown bridge during an argument in July. The complaint says Carr jumped in from the riverbank and police had to get Jordan and Carr out of the water. Jordan drowned.

The other man charged was 52-year-old Tracy Edwards, who led Milwaukee police to serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer two decades ago.

Carr has pleaded guilty to first-degree recklessly endangering safety. His sentencing hearing is set for Friday morning.

Edwards has a hearing set for Monday for a plea deal.
