Palatine changes traffic pattern due to road widening

As a result of the recent Palatine Road widening, the village of Palatine will make a couple traffic-related changes in the downtown area.

The village council has approved converting Bothwell Street to one-way north between Palatine Road and Slade Street, with angled parking on both sides of the roadway.

And due to visibility issues, right turns on red will be prohibited from northbound Brockway Street onto Palatine Road.
