Concert to feature Broadway tunes

Fox Country Players recently held auditions for their upcoming concert, “A Night of Broadway.”

The concert will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Community Christian Church, located north of Yorkville in the Saint Joseph Cabinetry complex.

“A Night of Broadway” will showcase the talented community as performers sing show tunes from the Great White Way. Also performing will be several Chicago theater veterans whose faces you might remember from shows like “Superman” and “The Buddy Holly Story.”

Directed by Patrick Stinson, “A Night of Broadway” is sure to entertain as the audience is whisked away on a tour of their favorite show tunes.

The event will also include a silent auction and all of the proceeds will be used to further FCP’s Theatre Arts Academy program. Tickets for this event are $15 and are available at www.foxcountryplayers.org.
