Food sought for pantry:

Nonperishable food items are being sought to benefit the Round Lake Beach-based People Lending Assistance Network pantry. Organizer Cat Vaccaro of Lake Villa said the effort will run from 6 to 8 p.m. in the community room at State Bank of the Lakes, 50 Commerce Drive, Grayslake. PLAN, with a facility on Nicole Drive in Round Lake Beach, feeds about 2,000 local families as part of the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
