Denise Schinberg was elected president, Crystal Divis was elected internal vice president (Chapter Management and Individual Development), April McCarron was elected external vice president (Membership and Community), LaTayna Schwalb has been appointed secretary and Jeremy Ewing, 2011 president, will be serving as the chairman of the board.

There are still board positions open. Anyone interested in getting involved is invited to attend the January New Member Interest Meeting, which will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Hoffman Estates village hall. Following, at 7 p.m., will be the January General Meeting; all are welcome to stay for the general meeting.

The Hoffman Estates Jaycees chapter conducts several projects per year including the Make A Difference Day Food Drive, Carnival, Christmas Kids, Job Fair and the Best Pizza Contest. At the end of the fiscal year, all of the profits generated from the chapter projects less project expenses are funneled back into the community.

The Jaycees provide individuals between the ages of 18 and 41 the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills while serving their community.
