Update: The Celtics (4-5) are off to a slow start, losing consecutive home games this week to Dallas and Indiana. Their only victories this season were against Detroit, New Jersey and Washington twice. At age 36, SG Ray Allen is playing well, averaging 19.0 points and shooting 56 percent from the field. PG Rajon Rondo leads the league in assists (10.1), but Paul Pierce (13.8 ppg) and Kevin Garnett (13.2 ppg) aren’t at their usual levels and the Celtics aren’t getting much from starting center Jermaine O’Neal. The Bulls have lost seven of their last eight regular-season games in Boston.
