Attendees from Grayslake Central were: Raj Patel, Pat Burba, Natalie Wickenkamp, Andrew Murphy, Ian Jackson, Nathan Anderson, Robert Weiss, Kaitlyn Weirnheim, Ashley Weirnheim and teacher Diane Keuth.

Derek Clark, one of the conference speakers, encouraged students to be courageous and introduced the importance of passion at the conference. Keynote speaker, Jerry Ackerman, who was a teacher himself, exemplified commitment to students on a personal level. Teens and advisers from around the country gathered to learn and achieve over the course of the two-day workshop.

Erin Llanes-Smith from Grayslake North said she “not only had a great time, but learned a whole lot about what it means to be dedicated and focused not just in a business field, but for other areas in her life.”
