Robert Morris offers Arlington Heights residents tuition break

Arlington Heights residents can attend classes at the new Robert Morris University campus in the village for $5,000 an academic year, under a program being offered by the school.

The campus, which is in its first year at 2123 Goebbert Road, offers a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a management concentration. Regular tuition at the private, nonprofit school is about $21,000 per year, said Panorea Bakutis, the university’s director of admissions.

Classes in the program, which is designed for working people, take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Another course usually involves an internship, often at the student’s current place of employment, or an online class, Bakutis said.

The deadline to apply for the program is Feb. 11. Classes begin Feb. 20. Information on the grants and the academic program is available at (847) 718-6700.
