Airlines to waive change fees as snowstorm looms

United Continental Holdings Inc. today announced travel options for United and Continental customers whose flight plans may be disrupted by severe winter weather expected in the Chicago area. Weather conditions are expected to lead to the delay or cancellation of certain flights out of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

Customers on flights to, from or through O'Hare on Thursday may reschedule their itineraries with a one-time date or time change, and the airlines will waive the change fees. The fastest and most convenient way to change travel plans is via united.com or continental.com. Customers should continue to manage their reservations on the respective carrier's website from which they purchased their ticket.
