Township’s holiday generosity was boundless

There are no words that can quite express the incredible outpouring of love and kindness of our donors, volunteers, churches and other organizations who remembered those families and children in need in our community.

Only through your continued support, generosity and dedication was it possible for Palatine Township to reach out to so many less fortunate.

During this holiday season, over 400 Thanksgiving baskets were provided to families, 307 families received gifts from our Adopt-A-Family Program and 699 Angel Tree gifts were distributed to children and senior citizens.

With the collaboration of School District 15 social workers, we were also able to help additional children with new toys, books, games, hats and mittens that were donated by local businesses and community members.

Thank you again for taking the time to remember those in need this holiday season. We hope you and yours have a blessed and prosperous New Year.
