Coyote Logistics to add 400 jobs in Chicago
A company called Coyote Logistics plans to add 400 new jobs in Chicago this year.
According to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s office, the expansion will increase the number of Coyote Logistics employees in the city’s Green Exchange to 1,000. The Green Exchange is part of an initiative designed to promote environmentally sustainable businesses.
The mayor’s office says the positions will be focused on sales, operations and technology.
Coyote Logistics moves freight across North America and specializes in fleet backhaul. That means customer’s trucks are used to transport other customer’s loads on return trips, which reduces empty miles and carbon emissions.
