Crying shame about Avenue Chevrolet

It’s a crying shame about Avenue Motor Sales in Batavia. It sickens me to see Avenue Chevrolet close its doors. The Clark family is well respected throughout the area. There’s a ballpark named after Don Clark. Eighty-one years of good, honest, hard work has come to an end, through no fault of their own.

So how does this happen to the Clarks and many others? Driving through St. Charles, the plywood windows add a nice touch, no? The Clarks were undone by big business, the same thing that got you and me. This economic problem was caused by greed, ignorance, and mortgage predators. Nice recipe for disaster.

How do they sleep at night? Think of what they’ve done to Avenue Chevrolet, countless others, and even our country.
