Obama 2012 same as Obama 2008

At least we know what Obama’s policy proposals will be if he is re-elected in 2012. There will be a recycling of his failed policies from his first four years. The only difference will be in the name.

His jobs bill is simply a new name attached to his 2009 stimulus. The stimulus didn’t work and neither will his current jobs bill.

His new theme is for everyone to pay their fair share, which is simply a recycling of his 2008 campaign slogan.

According to Obama, our troubles are all a result of the wealthy. Of course, there is no mention of the government financed Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, which started the whole collapse and which entities were under the oversight of Democrats Chris Dodd and Barney Frank.

Obama has not changed his thinking. He is still promoting the same failed ideas from his first four years.

Since he cannot campaign on his dismal record of domestic accomplishments, he is playing the blame game. Blame Republicans for everything that is wrong even if the Democrats controlled the White House, Senate and House of Representatives for the first two years and still control the White House and Senate.

Obama and the Democrats have savagely attacked Republicans for wanting to revamp the nearly half century old Medicare law to avoid insolvency and ensure its continuity for generations to come. Obama, Pelosi and Reid gleefully charge Republicans with wanting to cut benefits.

We need energy independence and jobs, but Obama is against the Canadian pipeline that could help free us from OPEC and create over 20,000 jobs. He wants to wait until 2013 to make a decision on the pipeline, on budget cuts to reduce our $14 trillion debt and to revamp Social Security and Medicare. Why wait until after the 2012 elections? Make those decisions now.
