Fox Valley Rep laughs it up
Fox Valley Repertory starts 2012 on a funny note with Second City's “The Best of Second City” revue and a performance of comedy-infused combat courtesy of master swordsmen Dirk Perfect (Douglas E. Metropolis Performing Arts Centre skewers roughly 500 years of American history with its production of the Reduced Shakespeare Company's 1993 show, “The Complete History of America (Abridged).” Adam Kander, Mat Labotka and Michael Woods star in director David Belew's production. ‘Invisible Man'
Director and Classical Theatre of Harlem co-founder Christopher McElroen directs Court Theatre's world premiere “Invisible Man” adapted from Ralph Ellison's National Book Award-winning novel about black identity and oppression by Oscar-nominated documentarian Oren Jacoby.
