Aurora hosts Cafe Noir for a night last month

Submitted by SciTech Museum

The SciTech Museum in the historic post office building in downtown Aurora was turned into the “Cafe Noir” on Dec. 9 and became the scene of a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater experience for guests attending this year’s gala.

This engaging musical whodunit featured SciTech Museum’s new professional theater troupe, The Edu-Tainers, who entertained guests for the hands-on science museum’s annual fundraising event.

Throughout the service of a four-course meal, the actors brought to life the musical play “Murder at Café Noir” by David Landau. Guests were incorporated into the evening’s plot.

A silent auction featuring the scientifically-based artwork of Chicago artist Bohdan Gernaga, was also part of the evening. Visit www.scitechmuseum.org for information about the museum.
