Gurnee park program open house

Gurnee Park District will host two open houses for their Growing Tree Preschool. The first session is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Viking Park, 4374 Old Grand Ave. in Gurnee. The second open house is 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, at Hunt Club Park, 920 N. Hunt Club Road in Gurnee. Visitors will see how Growing Tree Preschool students learn and develop. Gurnee Park District preschool programs encompass all of the state of Illinois early learning areas such as language arts, math, science, social science, fine arts, foreign language, physical development and health, in a kindergarten-readiness curriculum.
