IC’s win streak ends
After 12 consecutive victories without a loss to start its season, Immaculate Conception finally dropped one, 64-58 to Nazareth in Elmhurst.
Taking a 7-6 lead after a quarter, visiting Nazareth (5-10) led 25-21 at halftime and 46-39 after three quarters.
Immaculate Conception (12-1) was led by John Cheng with 24 points and Brian Harvey with 15 points, including 9-of-11 free-throw shooting. The Knights made 18 of 29 free throws in the nonconference contest.
