Blago isn’t guilty and should appeal
On the advice of his lawyers in hopes of getting a lesser sentence, Blagojevich lied to the judge about being guilty of who knows what.
Apparently the judge did not believe him, and he got a harsh sentence.
Blagojevich should have been defiant and told the judge he committed no crimes, and that he should have noticed this during the trial. He should have told the judge that prosecutors did not prove that he did anything illegal. And that the jury got the verdict wrong and it will be appealed.
