Three Express games at Sears Centre this weekend

The Chicago Express will celebrate the turn of the New Year with three ECHL games at the Sears Centre Arena this weekend, starting with tonight’s battle for first place in the Northern Division against the Kalamazoo Wings.

On Saturday, the Greenville Road Warriors will play the Express at 7:30 p.m., and the two clubs will go at it again in a 4 p.m. matinee game Sunday at the Sears Centre Arena.

Other promotions for the weekend include:

Ÿ Dollar Friday with $1 beers and $1 hot dogs. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the puck drops at 7:30 p.m. against Kalamazoo.

Ÿ Following Friday’s game, center Joe Cucci and winger Chad Painchaud will both be available for pictures and autographs at the autograph table on the concourse.

Ÿ Saturday features a New Year’s Noisemaker Giveaway for a limited number of fans once doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Ÿ Following Saturday’s game, fans can skate on the ice for free and attend the Party in the Club for no charge. Fans can bring their own skates, and limited skate rental is available for $4.

Ÿ Following Sunday’s game, the Express players will be on the ice for a Skate with the Team event. Limited skate rental is available, and fans are encouraged to bring their own skates to the game.
