Canucks recall Mancari from Wolves

The Vancouver Canucks have recalled right wing Mark Mancari from the Chicago Wolves.

Mancari saw his team season-high seven-game point streak snapped Monday night in the Wolves 4-3 overtime win at Peoria. He had 8 goals and 13 points during that span, which included four multiple-point outings.

The 26-year-old forward paces the Wolves and shares 14th in the American Hockey League with 12 goals and ranks second on the team with 12 assists and 24 points in 26 games this year. He also has skated in three National Hockey League games with Vancouver this year.

The London, Ontario, native ranked fifth in the AHL with a career-high 32 goals and shared 14th in the league with 64 points in 56 games with the Portland Pirates en route to being named to the 2011 AHL First All-Star Team last season. He also collected 8 points (G, 7A) in 20 NHL contests with the Buffalo Sabres last year.

The Wolves travel to Wisconsin for an Amtrak Rivalry battle against the Milwaukee Admirals at 7 p.m. Wednesday night at the Bradley Center.
