Lake Zurich’s Go Hardball hosts fundraising event

Go Hardball Training Academy in Lake Zurich is hosting a fundraising event to celebrate its 5-year anniversary. The event, that runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, will benefit Lake Zurich Baseball and Softball Association. Go Hardball, 100 Oakwood Road, is teaming up with several area businesses, including Sport Clips and Avalon Salon & Day, in holding the celebration with food, drinks and games. The training facility will offer free video analysis demos during the event along with several activities, provided by participating businesses, for both kids and adults. All proceeds will be donated to LZBSA. The event is open to all and no invitation is necessary, said President Tony Feo.

The training academy is designed to provide a positive, personal environment for baseball, softball and personal training. Some services Go Hardball offers includes private instruction, batting cages, camps, clinics, digital motion analysis, injury rehabilitation and performance training.
