India sells 120 billion rupees of bonds
India raised 120 billion rupees selling bonds maturing in 2018, 2021 and 2030, the central bank said.
The nation sold 40 billion rupees of 7.83 percent bonds due 2018 at a yield of 8.4314 percent, or 97.09 rupees per 100 rupee face amount, the Reserve Bank of India said in an e-mailed statement today. It auctioned 50 billion rupees of 8.79 percent notes due 2021 at 8.3946 percent or 102.60 rupees. It also sold 30 billion rupees of 8.97 percent bonds due 2030 at 8.6548 percent or 102.90 rupees.
