Des Plaines mayor’s wife lends a hand in Wadsworth
Lisa Moylan, wife of Des Plaines Mayor Martin J. Moylan, was one of several volunteers to assist the Land Conservancy of Lake County, a 22-year-old nonprofit organization that works with landowners to preserve land through various options such as land donation and conservation easements.
The land conservancy currently owns seven large parcels around Lake County that compromise about 80 acres; as well as 32 smaller parcels. The group is seeking volunteers to assist with planting, weeding and cutting brush.
