A website dedicated to helping those with disabilities is offering a number of tips to help make holiday travel easier.

TravelinWheels.com says one of the best things those with disabilities can when traveling by jet is to make sure the airlines know about their needs to prevent any problems and to get to the airport early to make it easier to deal things like gate changes.

The site also provides city specific information, like details for travel at both of Chicago’s airports.

The tips also include bringing bring bubble wrap and duct tape to protect wheel chairs and walkers from damage.
