Village reminds residents to recycle holiday wreaths, trees

LOMBARD, Illinois—Don't trash your trees! Between Jan. 2, 2012 and Jan. 13, 2012, live Christmas trees and wreaths will be picked up for recycling by Waste Management on the regular garbage collection day.

Trees should be free from all ornaments, tinsel, lights and garland and should be left at the curb.
