End the cover-up over Fast and Furious
I would like to know why the Daily Herald and other major newspapers are not reporting on and covering the “Fast and Furious” scandal of our federal government. This is a major cover-up. Our government, through the Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, sold thousands of illegal guns to the Mexican drug cartels. Then they tried to say that 90 percent of the illegal guns in Mexico came from gun dealers in America. Of course they did, the dealers were forced to sell them by the DOJ.
Why aren’t the big anti-gun senators like Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, Charles Schumer and Dick Durbin not jumping all over this? I guess it’s because they can’t blame George Bush on this one!
One of our American border guards was killed by one of these guns. Here it is a year later, and President Obama has not fired Eric Holder or appointed a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of it. Holder perjured himself in front of a congressional committee saying he only heard about Fast and Furious a few weeks ago, when there are documents dated in 2010 sent to him about this debacle. He is still in charge as the attorney general.
Now our federal government is suing Arizona over its tough immigration law. It is suing the American citizens of Arizona when the job of the federal government is to protect American citizens. No wonder this country is in the shape it’s in. God help us. The scariest part of this whole scenario is there are American citizens who will vote for Obama again in 2012.
