Waller should submit resignation

Lake County State’s Attorney Michael Waller should join his famous prosecutor Michael Mermel in submitting a his letter of resignation to the Lake County Board.

Waller has been a perpetrator in a system of injustice that prevails under his watch. For more than 19 years, a young Hispanic, Juan Rivera, has been a victim of Waller’s injustice. He should be released from prison immediately.

Waller and his team have played with justice and good law enforcement for the sake of political enhancement. The residents of Lake County deserve better, and we would be better off without Waller’s abstract interpretation of the law.
