Larkin Center needs better funding

The mental health cuts in Illinois have deeply affected the Larkin Center. The reduced funding at the center has prevented the children from receiving the proper care that they need. Even though the state may think they’re saving money, the children who are not mentally stable won’t get the help they need. The result could actually end of costing the state money.

The Larkin Center is a place that offers families the counseling they need to get them through hard times and rough issues. This child-support system can give these troubled teens and children the help they need to better their future and, in return, better the community.

The Larkin Center needs to receive proper funding in order to take care of these children who are in need of it.
