The skinny: After holding off Loyola-Chicago and Chicago State, DePaul shoots for its third straight win. The Blue Demons edged Northern Illinois 86-84 last year at Allstate Arena. Sophomore forward Cleveland Melvin is averaging 21.3 points and 6.7 rebounds over his last three games. DePaul leads the all-time series vs. NIU, 23-6. The winless Huskies have eight freshmen on the roster and are still experiencing growing pains.
