Will County man sentenced in child porn case

JOLIET — A Will County man is headed to state prison to serve a four-year sentence after pleading guilty to an aggravated child pornography charge.

In a news release, the county state’s attorney’s office says that Joshua Price of Crest Hill was sentenced Monday after entering his plea. As part of his sentence, the 27-year-old Price must register as a convicted sex offender.

The release says Price, a student at Joliet Junior College, left a flash drive containing digital images of child pornography in a computer at the school. After another student found the flash drive, school officials notified authorities.

Price was linked to the flash drive and arrested.
