ComEd continues Hoffman Estates work
ComEd officials attended the Hoffman Estates village board meeting Monday to give an update on infrastructure upgrades within the village.
Since October, ComEd has replaced more than 22,000 feet of underground cable in Hoffman Estates, according to officials. Upcoming projects include targeted tree trimming, the installation of about 1,400 feet of Hendrix cable to guard against falling tree limbs and the replacement of an additional 1,950 feet of underground cable.
ComEd officials say the company remains on track to get the planned upgrades done by May 15, 2012.
