Grainger November sales up 15 percent
Mettawa-based W.W Grainger announced sales for November increased 15 percent buoyed by strong domestic and Canadian sales.
Results for the month included a five percentage point contribution from acquisitions, the company said in a statement. Excluding acquisitions, organic sales increased 10 percent, including 10 percentage points from volume and 2 percentage points from price, partially offset by a 2 percentage point decline from 2010 oil spill related sales.
The global supplier of maintenance, repair and operating products is scheduled to report fourth quarter earnings on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
