No reason to put spotlight on Kelly

Mike Kelly, the recently-resigned mayor of Bartlett, is beloved by many Bartlett residents — although clearly he has his enemies. The news that he was late in paying his property taxes was transparently politically motivated.

I hope the Daily Herald investigated the property tax payment history of all local politicians before shining a spotlight on Mike.

Otherwise, it is guilty of simply being an instrument of the local politicians (read: Hanover Township) who probably tipped off the paper in the first place.
