Grayslake Historical Society event:

The Grayslake Historical Society will host a Christmas open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, featuring music, refreshments, children’s activities and tours at the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum, 164 Hawley St., Grayslake. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be available for pictures with children and families in the vintage sleigh from the society’s collection. There will be several activities for the children. At 3:30 p.m., the Grayslake North High School Choir will perform and sing several holiday tunes. Refreshments will be served.
