Police find pot, loaded gun inside Naperville felon's home
A 21-year-old Naperville felon has been charged after police found 95 grams of marijuana and a loaded gun in his home Monday, according to authorities.
Naperville police executed a search warrant at the home in a heavily wooded area in the 800 block of South Julian Street and found the marijuana, a scale, packaging, a .45 caliber loaded pistol and ammunition, according to authorities.
Eric T. Maschmeier was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon, according to police.
Police said they received information from “concerned citizens” that the residents of the address were using and selling marijuana, which led to the search warrant.
