Elgin agency offers gift basket drawing

The Association for Independent Development is getting into the holiday spirit with 12 holly jolly baskets, each one stuffed with wonderful gifts and wishes for holiday cheer. On display at AID’s Elgin office, 1135 Bowes Road, these beautiful baskets are ready-made gifts to go for anyone on your shopping list, even yourself.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

The schedule will be:

Ÿ Dec. 6 drawing: It’s A Wrap! All the basics: lots of wrapping papers, bows, pens, tapes, labels and more

Ÿ Dec. 7 drawing: Beautiful tree ornaments and accent pieces

Ÿ Dec. 8 drawing: Holiday Accents to warn hearth and home

Ÿ Dec. 9 drawing: Family Time includes boards games, DVDs, $75 GC to Fox Valley Park District in Aurora, Panera for a Year certificate; one loaf per month.

Ÿ Dec. 12 drawing: It’s A Girl Thing with must haves for every girl on your list. Colorful butterflies, lots of jewelry, mirror ball, and flower power fleece blanket

Ÿ Dec. 13 drawing: Boy’s Toys includes soccer ball, basketball, baseball and bat, autographed baseball, fleece blanket and (new to you) bike

Ÿ Dec. 14 drawing: Jewelry Basket overflowing with an amazing array of jewelry

Ÿ Dec. 15 drawing: Santa Claus is Coming to Town in his XL Deluxe Velvet Santa Suit.

Ÿ Dec. 16 drawing: Little One includes sweet things for the baby girl in the family: hand-knit outfits, books, party time teacher, and a fleece blanket.

Ÿ Dec. 19 drawing: Sweets & Stuff includes two homemade apple pies, gingerbread house kit, a basket filled with sweet & savory spices for the holiday baker from The Spice House in Geneva and all sorts of holiday goodies.

Ÿ Dec. 20 drawing: Pamper includes all sorts of lotions, a Jodi Picoult autographed book, pair of gloves, scarves, an overnight stay at the Geneva Comfort Inn and more.

Ÿ Dec. 21 drawing: Holiday Cheer is on the way with nine assorted bottles of wine in a wine crate.
