College coaches make too much

I am appalled at the salaries that the coaches at universities receive. I am referring to the Fence Post article in the Nov. 20 newspaper. Some make from $2 million and up. No wonder college students have to pay so much money a year for college — all because of sports.

If our grandchildren have to take loans to go to college it’s all because of salaries as stated. Are sports more important than the scholastic courses?
