Barrington church hosts Cookie Walk fundraiser

Community Church of Barrington will host its Cookie Walk fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 10, at the church at 407 S. Grove Ave. in Barrington. The cost is $10 for a one-pound box that you pack yourself as you circulate around tables filled with homemade cookies. Gloves will be worn by everyone so as not to spread germs during the holiday season. Doors will open at 9 a.m. for tickets. The actual Cookie Walk will start at 10:30 a.m. and last until 12:30 p.m. or the cookies run out. All proceeds will be given to a number of local and regional mission groups selected by the church’s Women’s Fellowship Council.
